When love turns to passion and becomes your future.

Hi, I'm Dawn Wylacker

I have always had a love for animals and had many pets growing up but never a dog. I got my first dog in 2018 after a year of researching breeds and dog behavior. I was in love like everyone but this love was not only for Spencer but for Toy Poodles as a breed, as a companion, a journey had started nevertheless, whether I knew or not. The more we progressed, through puppy school, training and whatever life threw at us the love and admiration for the breed grew. It was really important to me that more people, especially people who needed it, got to know this breed and saw these special dogs not for its size but for what it could do, what it could be.

I knew what was coming next and knew I had to be prepared so back to my readings and research I went. Cert in responsible breeding from Vic government, Cert 1 & 2 in breeding and genetics from Wageningen University, 11 courses on breeding, reproduction, anatomy and genetics from the American Kennel Club, Canine College and courses from Midwoofery, along with many other courses and more information than I can list. Some of these certificates can be seen on our Facebook page.
